What a Placard Gives Back

A placard is not about the car. It is about the walk from the car.

Less Walking on Hard Days

When every step counts, the distance from the car matters most.

Keep going with the people you love Keep going with family

You can keep going to church, the grandchildren’s games and lunch with friends. A placard works in any car you ride in.

This process was seamless and well worth it. The doctor reviewed all my medical history and they even requested additional health clarification before issuing the certificate.

Common Questions

Plain answers to the questions people ask most.

Do I need my own medical records?
No. Records help if you have them, but the doctor evaluates your answers either way.
When am I charged?
Not until your evaluation begins. For a case evaluation, that is when the doctor begins reviewing your answers. For a video visit, it is one hour before the visit. Until then, nothing is charged.
Do I have to choose between a case evaluation and a video visit?
Only at the end, with one tap. A case evaluation is reviewed in writing, usually within two business days. A video visit is 5 to 10 minutes at a time you pick. The doctor, the standard and the fee are the same.
How long does a Florida placard last?
A permanent placard is valid for four years and is renewed through the county. A temporary placard lasts up to six months.
What if I am not certified?
You receive a written explanation. The fee covers the evaluation itself and is not refunded.
