What to Have on Hand
The practitioner will ask about the things below. Get the information and any documents together now to streamline the process.
- What the condition is, and whether a doctor has diagnosed it
- How far you can walk before you have to stop and rest
- What happens when you try to walk further: pain, weakness, loss of balance
- Whether you use a cane, walker, crutches or a wheelchair, and for how long
- What treatment you have had, including injections, physiotherapy or surgery
- Whether it has been confirmed by X-ray, MRI or CT
