A Wheelchair License Plate Is Not the Same as a Placard
Florida offers both. They grant the same parking rights, and which suits you depends on how many vehicles you travel in.

Most people are better served by a placard, because it moves with the person rather than the car. If a relative drives you to appointments, a plate on your own vehicle does nothing for you that day.
You may hold both.
What We Do
We complete the medical certification, which is the part both routes require. Your county handles the rest: the placard at the tax collector's counter, the plate through vehicle registration.
